Fiction One hot, sunny day, Ray the Rabbit was sitting in his hole eating carrots. After his small meal, he decided to go on a walk because it was so nice outside. What he did not know was that Red the Fox was waiting in the bushes nearby. Ray the Rabbit was right outside the hole when Red the Fox pounced on him.
Bob the Botfly was buzzing around nearby and saw the struggle. He decided to stop by for a snack because he hadnt eaten in a while. Bob zoomed in and bit Red the Fox on the head. Red the Fox growled in pain and shook his head, trying to get rid of the fly. Bob stayed on.
Barbara the Butterfly was relaxing and eating nectar on a flower. When she saw the fox attacking Ray the Rabbit, She flew away to find someone to help the poor rabbit. Barbara flew and flew as fast as she could until she found Lily the Lion laying in the sun, feeding her small cubs.
She called to lily to follow her because Ray the Rabbit needed help. As the lion ran toward the rabbit hole, Barbara the Butterfly perched right next to the lion’s ear telling her everything that had happened. When both of them got to the area where Ray the Rabbit was still trying to escape from the fox’s hungry jaws, all lily had to do was roar. When the fox hear that frightening sound he looked up, paused, and ran as fast as his legs could carry him. The fox never bothered the rabbit again.
